Policy & Procedure No.13
1. Millfield Pre-school (MPS) works with parents/carers supporting, encouraging and reinforcing best practice and guiding or advising when parents/carers seek suggestions or ways of caring and coping with children.
2. To instigate this, we:
a. Ensure all parents/carers are aware of our aims and policies, including complaints.
b. Encourage parents/carers to become actively involved with MPS.
c. Provide feedback on their child’s progress.
d. Listen to parents/carers’ comments and opinions about their child’s progress.
e. Ensure times, places and information about meetings are available to all parents/carers.
f. Listen to parents/carers’ comments and opinions about their child’s emotional well-being.

g. The Pre-school is a charity based organisation and it is a legal requirement that it has a Committee made up of parents and carers. Without this Committee the Pre-school would be unable to operate.

h. Families are encouraged to participate in all fundraising events.
