Babysitting
At Millfield Pre-school (MPS) we do not provide any form of babysitting service for Parents/Carers outside of our sessional hours. This is to ensure that MPS employers cannot be subject to any complaints and/or allegations against a child and/or their family.
- This ensures that:
a. Relationships between staff and parents/carers remain professional at all times.
b. All family and/or personal matters regarding confidentiality continues to be met.
c. Staff and families personal and parenting beliefs and/or cultural preferences are not challenged, disputed or defied.
- Should any staff member be found to be in breach of this policy and procedure, MPS will initiate the disciplinary process as set out in P&P no. 10, in accordance for a case of gross misconduct.
