Speech sounds and letter recognition are an essential component of learning to read. We will be introducing our letter sound of the week after half term and including it in the Sapling sessions too. I have attached a short Youtube video to support Parents/Carers with phonics at home. We use ReadWrite Inc phonics and will use flash cards and activities to encourage children to learn the letter and associated sound.
